Join us for an interactive and immersive musical experience hosted by MacKenzie Stewart Hizon.

Kirtan is call and response chanting, a musical meditation. In this workshop we will learn about the history of Kirtan, understand the benefits of developing a chanting practice, study the words, melody & meaning of several simple popular Sanskrit and English chants, as well as chant together to experience the benefits of singing in community.

Participants will receive a list of resources to continue their learning and deepen their practice beyond the workshop. All levels welcome. No prior music experience is necessary.
