Anatomy and Fascia Workshop for Yoga & Pilates teachers With Gary Carter
This workshop is specially designed for movement teachers, bodyworkers, fitness professionals, and anyone interested in deepening their understanding of myofascial anatomy and its applications in movement practices.
Join the acclaimed Gary Carter as he guides participants through the fascinating realm of fascia and its critical role in our physical movement and teaching methodologies.
We will survey the dynamics of the network of fascia in our movement practice and in our teaching, and how it relates to health in our movements through life; exploring fascia and the spine along with their relationship to gravity, maintaining ease and efficiency in movement.
This 2.5 hour workshop will be introducing the upcoming Myofascial Anatomy Course for movement teachers starting in November 2025.
Make sure to wear comfortable clothing that allows movement, and bring a notebook for observations and reflections!
Gary will be teaching a second workshop at Surrey Yoga & Pilates on Friday 9th May. The 2 sessions are aligned with each other but also independent of each other so you could attend one or both.

We do have a 12 space car park available for customer use on a first-come, first-served basis. There is also alternative parking which is free can be found at:
Shalford Car Park (next to the Scout Hut) – 0.4 miles, 9 minute walk.
Shalford Park Car Park (in Shalford Park) – 0.5 miles, 10 minute walk
Shalford Train Station Car Park – 0.5 miles, 10 minute walk
There is also on-street parking available in various local roads, including near St. Mary’s Church.
Bus
Our nearest bus stop is St. Mary’s Church in Shalford, which is 50 metres from the Studio.

We have a secure bike rack that you are welcome to use and chain your bike to.
