Bachata is a very accessible dance for newcomers! No previous dance or Salsa experience is required as this is an absolute beginner class. In this level, you will learn various lead-and-follow frameworks such as open, close, Dominican, and shadow positions. You are also introduced to fundamental lead and follow techniques including rhythm recognition, simple turns, change-of-place, and step touches. 

Recommended to do this level for three months before moving to Bachata 2.
