This 10-week series offers two levels of programming to meet you where you are.
- Couch to 5K (C25K): Perfect for beginners looking to build endurance and complete their first 5K.
- 5K Training Program: Designed for those who have recently completed the C25K or already have an established aerobic base and want to take their training to the next level.
- Weekly running program: three separate workouts each week for ten weeks. Each week will increase in intensity with varying amounts of brisk walking and/or jogging.
- Goal for C25K is to support the runner to complete a 5K primarily jogging. Aim of the 5K training program is to improve your performance from your last 5K.
- Weekly meet-ups are encouraged. Tentative times Sunday 4:00pm, Tuesday 6:00am and Thursday 5:30pm. A coach will attend at least one of these meet-ups.
- Comprehensive private Facebook group intended to educate, inspire and create a community of new runners to hold each other accountable
- UESCA trained coach
