We return to the dance floor for a powerful milestone edition of Ecstatic Dance Oakville—a high-vibrational, open-air celebration of the Summer Solstice and a special homecoming.

For this peak-summer gathering, we are moving the dance floor outdoors to fully connect with the elements, the earth, and the expansive energy of the season. We will be gathering nearby at the park to anchor this container under the open sky! (In the event of rain, we will seamlessly transition into our beautiful indoor sanctuary space at My Vitae).

After three months of holding space, sourcing medicine, and deep diving into the jungle rhythms of Costa Rica, Cacaoboy is back to guide us through this portal of maximum light and peak vitality.

The Summer Solstice is a time of amplification, celebration, and radical expression. There is a potent fire that awakens when we gather at the peak of the sun’s cycle. This dance is an invitation to channel that radiant solar energy, anchor it deep within our bodies under the open sky, and celebrate the expansion of our community.

Our Oakville gatherings have quickly become a staple conscious, heart-centered container rooted in pure presence, high-fidelity sound, and deep connection. Each event continues to evolve, and this outdoor Solstice edition promises to elevate the energy to new heights.

The afternoon unfolds as a masterfully curated musical arc—moving you from grounding and arrival, into deep activation and ecstatic release, and landing in a spacious integration.

No choreography. No expectations. Just presence, breath, and movement—shared in a respectful, alcohol-free space. This is an invitation to drop in, celebrate the sun, and welcome home a brother.

🔥 Featured Artist: Cacaoboy (Homecoming Set)

With a yogi's spirit and a DJ's soul, Jesse Buck (Cacaoboy) is a Community Visionary, Event Producer, Sound Healer, and the founder of Chocolate Groove—a beacon of Cacao Ecstatic Dance gatherings across Toronto, Oakville, Hamilton, Costa Rica, and Tulum. He is also the co-founder of Sonic Springs Festival, now heading into its 4th year of merging music, art, and intentional wellness.

Fresh off a transformative three-month creative residency and performance run in Costa Rica, Jesse returns to Ontario inspired by the frequencies of the jungle. As a DJ, he artfully blends deep Tribal Grooves, House beats, Sacred Basslines, and Techno rhythms into intentional, high-fidelity sonic journeys designed to bypass the mind and drop the floor straight into the heart. For this special Solstice integration, Jesse will also guide a transcendent closing sound ceremony utilizing 432Hz crystal singing bowls for deep relaxation and profound healing.

🌊 What Is Ecstatic Dance?

Ecstatic Dance is a free-form movement journey—an invitation to move however your body wants to move. There are no steps to learn, no choreography, and no expectations. It is a practice of self-expression, mindfulness, release, and embodied listening.

The music flows in waves—from slow and grounding to high-energy and expansive—allowing the body to move through sensation, emotion, energy, and rest. Each dance is held in a safe, alcohol-free space, supporting you to drop out of the mind and into the body.

It’s not about how you look—it’s about how you feel.
