This workshop is open to everyone, previous certification not required. Everyone benefits from posture breakdown to align & refine personal practice. Teachers benefit from adding this skill into their classes.

There is soooo much more to it that correcting posture. It's about building trust, rapport, connection AND expanding each students practice. As teachers/assistants we look for what is possible and we create the environment for students to move into that possibility.

Yoga is a way of getting connected. To ourselves. To each other. Hands on Assisting is a tool that we use in class to support students connection to their own body, and also to us as teacher and assistant.

In this workshop, you will be taught alignment of each pose in the Journey into Power sequence by Baron Baptiste and how to assist based on 3 categories. Direction of movement, deepening, and correction.
