Have you ever heard your yoga instructor give an option to “take a vinyasa” and not known quite what to do? Or did you finally learn how to by watching other students and trying to do what they did? Are you confused about the difference between a vinyasa and a chaturanga (the yoga “push up”).
You're not alone.
Whether you're already an experienced vinyasa student or newer, it's important to learn how to approach vinyasa and, especially, chaturanga in a safe, effective way that allows you to learn to tap into your own strength, alignment, and body awareness.
Learn how to activate the correct muscles to support your shoulders while protecting your wrists and lower back. We'll also explore variations and modifications, as well as learning how to approach “jump ups” “jump backs” and “jump throughs.”
