Exploring Pranayama can be an incredible addition to your yoga practice, and can also enhance your daily life. Pranayama is the practice of controlling or regulating the breath, which is a source of prana, or vital life force. The breath can be a powerful tool to energize and reinvigorate or calm and soothe the body and mind.
In addition to enhancing your yoga practice and facilitating meditation, benefits of Pranayama may include:

At the Pranayama 101 workshop at Reverie, Sara and Kimmy will explain why breath work is so beneficial, guide you through practices, and give you plenty of time to experience the benefits for yourself! These techniques can be used in yoga classes, throughout your day, anytime, anywhere!
We recommend that you eat enough food to keep your energy vibrant, but ask that you attempt to have a relatively empty stomach for the workshop since we will be doing a lot of pranayama.
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time. The door will be locked when the workshop starts since it opens directly into the practice space. We want to ensure a peaceful experience for every client.
