Description
New medical research continues to support the health benefits of good gut bacteria. Gut bacteria are associated with a positive mood, a better stress response, balanced hormones, improved digestion and immune function. Fermented foods are chock-full of these good bacteria, also called probiotics. Most cultures across the world regularly feed their gut bacteria via fermented foods, yet fewer than 5% of Americans do.
In this workshop you will learn to make sauerkraut and other fermented vegetables. You will receive multiple recipe cards and will prepare a fermented veggie of your choice to take home. In closing, we will discuss how to incorporate more fermented foods into your diet, and review the recent research on the benefits of probiotics.
Min 3 participants. Max 8 participants.
