All body types, all abilities & all levels welcome for this workshop. No yoga experience necessary.
The activities & stresses of our daily lives can often lead to
tight & reduced range of motion in our hips. Daily stress,
sitting for prolonged periods or even driving in the car, can also
contribute to lower back pain. In this workshop we will go over the
anatomy of the hip, how we retain stress in our hips and how to
help release it. Incorporated in this workshop is a full :60
RESTORATIVE YOGA CLASS, so you will leave this workshop renewed and
refreshed. Sample hip opening yoga stretches to bring home to
assist in your daily, hip health care routine will also be offered.
By applying what you learn in this workshop to your personal care
routine, you may begin to notice less muscle tension, better
posture, increased mobility, flexibility, and stress relief. This
is a great workshop for women that experience tight hips and would
like to try and reduce pain, for those wanting to prevent further
hip pain or avoid it all together. This workshop is not intended to
replace the care of your doctor but offers ways to assist in the
self-care of your own body.
