Happy Pride!  What a perfect time to start creating a dialogue around fertility and celebrating the culture and heritage of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people.  Embarking on the journey to parenthood can be especially overwhelming for LGB and trans folks, as there are many factors to consider and issues that are often overlooked.  Please join us as three experts answer the question of “What does fertility look like?” We will cover topics ranging from periods and ovulation, preparing your body for conception (even if you’re a man), to differences between IUI and IVF, choosing an egg donor or surrogate, fertility preservation for trans men before beginning hormone treatment for transition and more.  There will be a $20 entry fee per person. Proceeds will be donated to My Friend's Place, a youth homeless shelter in Los Angeles, 40% of whom identify as LGBTQ.
