EBB | FLOW's 55 hour, 3 month training for current yoga teachers

We want to help create teachers who stand out in the community and make change. The E | F FireStarter Mentorship program provides a unique one-on-one experience in continuing education helping you take your teaching to the next level.

Over the course of three months, you will be guided through an in-depth study of asana practice, teaching skills and yogic study. You will dive into a deeper anatomical study, as well as explore the mind, body connection. Learn how to work with, address discomfort and disease, and best serve your students in private sessions. The program has flexible hours and is made up of the following components:
Coaching (6 hours) You will meet with your mentor twice per month for a discussion session. These sessions will be structured to outline your goals and objectives and discuss your progress. You will also be given reading and writing assignments relevant to your interests.

Asana Practice (18 hours) You are required to practice one asana class per week with your mentor. The cost of these classes is included in the cost of the program.

Observation / Assist (9 hours) Initially, you will observe six of your mentor’s private + public classes and have a brief discussion afterwards to answer any questions that may have arisen regarding sequencing, assists, etc. If your mentor deems it appropriate, you may begin to offer assists within the class and, guided by your mentor, lead one or two poses in class.

Practice Teaching (2 hours) Towards the end of the program, you will have an opportunity to teach one full-length pop-up class as a featured teacher for E | F. Your mentor will observe and provide feedback.

Personal Study (Minimum 19 hours) Your mentor will assign you reading and writing projects to complete, custom-tailored based on your personal intentions and what your mentor deems most appropriate for you. You will also be enrolled in an online anatomy program and work with your mentor to integrate that into asana practice.

Pre-requisites
This program is open to those who:

Have completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training program (or equivalent)

Have completed the mentorship application form.
Currently practice at EBB | FLOW or who are known to the E | F teaching team.
