In this last arm balance and inversion workshop of the year, Amanda will talk about inversions. Learn to flip your perspective, getting your heart above your head. In this workshop, Amanda will talk more about the anatomy of the spine, guide you through a short practice and different inversions. These will include downward-facing dog, dolphin pose, shoulder stand, tripod, tripod headstand, other headstand variations, forearm stand, and handstand. Transitions in and out of the poses will also be discussed, as well as how some of these poses may relate to arm balances discussed previously. Participants are again expected to have a consistent yoga practice, but not necessarily arm balances and inversions in their regular practice. Attendance of previous workshops or clinics are not necessary.
