Are you interested in trying yoga, but don't know where to start? Justine's Intro to Yoga Series Wednesdays 7:30-8:30pm will start from the beginning - the breath - and then progress systematically through many accessible yoga postures, including standing postures, seated postures, reclining postures, and flows with the breath. Justine provides a fun, non-intimidating atmosphere for new practitioners to explore the beginning of their practice.
This class is for all shapes, sizes, levels of strength, and levels of flexibility. You don't have to already be flexible to practice yoga!
Unlike a usual yoga class, these workshop-style classes will encourage participants to “speak out” and ask questions about the postures and how they feel in their bodies, and participants will also learn modifications to each posture to help it feel good in their own body.
By the end of the series, participants should feel confident to attend regular drop in classes, be familiar with the kinds of postures that are offered in the various styles of classes at Ananda Yoga, and also have the knowledge to start developing a short home practice.

Series classes policy: Signing up for a series class is a commitment to take all the classes in the series. Series classes are non-refundable. No refunds will be provided for any reason. One missed class in the series can be credited as a drop in class for any other class at Ananda Yoga, but no further missed classes will be credited.
