In this workshop Kristina will help you to connect with your core cylinder through her experience as a physical therapist and yoga teacher. The core is so much more than “abs”! The core cylinder is a functional unit consisting of your thoracic diaphragm, abdominal muscles, & pelvic floor. These units work together throughout daily activities to regulate breathing, pressure, stress, and posture. Connecting with this center can help to prevent lower back pain/injury, improve balance, regulate continence/leaking during activities (such as laughing, sneezing, jumping & lifting), and so much more.
