This six-week series is designed to support you safely through this incredible journey and to prepare you physically, mentally and emotionally for the birth you desire. These classes are designed for all stages of pregnancy. No previous yoga knowledge is necessary. Each class includes breathing techniques, yoga poses, and mindfulness. These practices provide improved relaxation, greater physical strength, flexibility and awareness throughout your momma being. Specific Prenatal exercises for the pelvic floor, core and other areas affected by pregnancy and labor will be given special focus.
Prenatal Yoga group classes have been shown to relieve common discomforts, improve strength, flexibility, and vitality, increase circulation and preparing you for labor, birth and motherhood. The class also provides an important social connection to other new moms which has been shown to decrease depression and isolation while improving support and overall health.
You are encouraged to return weekly for maximum benefit for birth preparation. A private FB community support group is included.
$150 for 6 classes.
Make-ups for this series will be held on December 17th.
