Description
The conscious order of components within a yoga practice is essential to designing a safe and effective program. This workshop is designed for yoga teachers and practitioners interested in creating yoga practices designed to best meet a set intention while adapting to the specific needs of the practitioner. Practices will include understanding how to build stability, pose preparation/compensation, and designing safe practices. This workshop will also include practice of observational methods such as observing movement patterns, breathing feedback, and non-verbal cues. Participants will receive handout materials to support workshop topics. Participants are encouraged to bring note-taking materials, a practice mat, and wear comfortable clothing for movement.
