Join Lauren for this four-part series! Whether you’re a beginner getting your first introduction to alignment in postures, or a seasoned practitioner needing a reminder, there’s something for every level of experience in these sessions.  We’ll focus on the 5 Pillars of Baptiste Power Vinyasa. We’ll work True North Alignment into each posture covered, learn about modifications to each, and some of the benefits of each pose. While these sessions are designed to operate as a series, you can also attend one session or another by itself. A handout for all material covered in each individual session will be provided for you to follow along. This is a wonderful way to deepen your knowledge and engage further in your practice!

Dive into learning about breath control and True North Alignment, both foundational to our practice. Working through the postures of Sun Salutations A and B, we’ll incorporate our learning of breath and alignment into each posture.
Poses covered: Mountain, Child’s Pose, Downward Facing Dog, Rag Doll, Forward Fold, Half Lift, Chatturanga Dandasana, Upward Facing Dog, Chair Pose, Warrior I and II, Flip Dog and Side Plank
What to bring: yoga mat, clothes to move in – we will not engage in a full practice, water, pen and small notebook.
