  • Discuss the spectrum of food choices within each category of the formula – eat food (Ahimsa – non-harming, foods and their effect on the body)

Week 2: How to prepare/shop – Tapas (purification through discipline)

  • Planning meals
  • Navigating the grocery store – making a better choice
  • Prepping meals (food safety - how long are certain foods good for?)

Week 3: How to eat – Svadhyaya (Self-Study)

  • Introduce mindful/intuitive eating – research-based
  • Belly-brain connection

Week 4: Finding balance –Santosha (Contentment)

  • How to fit life and unexpected moments into this formula
  • Practice with a potluck (Asteya (non-stealing), Aparigraha (non-possessiveness))
  • Reflection and goal setting moving forward
