Our kids can thrive with the creation of a meditation and mindfulness practice. In this special 6-week series devoted specifically to kids and tweens, they'll have a chance to explore the concept of mindfulness and learn various meditation styles that can help them better manage stress, become more resilient, lessen anxiety and sharpen their self-awareness.
This 6-week series will build on each session, teaching kids and tweens about the attitudes of mindfulness and introducing them to a variety of meditation styles and how they can incorporate them into their daily lives.
Sessions will occur from 3:45 to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays, Feb. 12—March 18. Suggested ages are 8 to 14.
