You will learn traditional Flow and modern flow; this will be
about linking sequences to make a dynamic and interesting practice
that will not only bring you strength and flexibility but also
spark your imagination. You will learn core - how to include
balancing postures in a flow class- building to an Apex posture. We
will learn how to use posture and techniques from the Ghosh
lineage, Para Yoga, Vimana Yoga, Ashtanga, Dharma, and Forrest to
create an amazing practice that will keep your students engaged and
excited to come to class.
You will learn to be an outstanding flow instructor in this faster paced practice - we will cover:
Intention - theme
Contraindicated poses - safe transitions - open hip vs closed hip
Flow timing for 60 to 75 minute classes
Music and Ambiance
Up level block work -
Set up for inversions
Cool down and finishing pose - Mantra/Chanting - Meditation
