Description
Designing Your Life is a hands-on weekend workshop to learn and use the Life Design© method, from the New York Times bestseller Designing Your Life (DYL), How to Build a Well-Lived, Joyful Life by Stanford professors Bill Burnett and Dave Evans. You will leave with mindful awareness of where you are right now, new designs for balance and energy, new ways to frame problems you’ve been trying to solve for a while, insights on how to hone your decision making, and three possible future paths for your life. Dr. Tracy Brandenburg will help you to create the life you’ll love by teaching you how to connect what you do with who you are and what you believe. This is an experiential workshop where you can expect to work with other learners, have “lecturettes,” as well as private mentoring.
In this four hour workshop you will work on designing your life and walk away with a plan. This workshop is just a taste of a transformational four day program.
DYL is one of the most popular classes at Stanford University; it has been taught for over 15 years and with remarkable results. Dr. Brandenburg trained at Stanford’s Life Design Lab, where she perfected her “Designing Your Life” workshop as well as customized Design Thinking workshops for corporations. She has regularly trained executives at Stanford’s Hasso-Plattner Institute of Design (“the d.school”), pioneered three design thinking programs at Cornell University, and teaches globally. Tracy is an anthropologist who specializes in design thinking, the methodology used to design breakthrough solutions for complex problems. Tracy has carried her love for taking on challenging questions to the ultimate thing we can innovate: ourselves.
