Are you looking for effective methods to heal or prevent pain, to become stronger and more flexible? Are you ready to 'own your youga' and free your body and mind? This workshop is for you!
This 6-session workshop provides you with the tools to systematically open and stabilize your body from head to toe using anatomically healthy principles of alignment. Suzanne with guide you through yoga poses, physical therapy and functional movement exercises, breathwork, and anatomy awareness as you explore your own optimal alignment and find ways to strengthen and lengthen your muscles as you deepen your practice. You will emerge with effective tools to create greater ease and lightness in your everyday life.
The workshop is structured into three sessions on the lower body, and three sessions on the upper body, providing relief from common challenges such as lower back/SI joint pain, knee and ankle issues, to imbalances in the upper back/shoulder/neck, rotator cuff, wrists and ahnads. Core and arm strengtheners are made accessible to everyone from beginners to advanced yogis.
Week 1 - Spine and the core: know the curves of your natural spine for ease and balance
Week 2 - Happy lower back and hips: deep core strength and 360 degree hip release
Week 3 - Happy hips, knees and ankles: how to open and stabilize your legs and feet
Week 4 - Upper back, be nimble! Mobility and strength in your thoracic spine
Week 5 - Text-neck be gone! Liberating the neck and shoulders
Week 6 - Frozen shoulder? Nope! Sustainable alignment for rotator cuff, arms, wrists and hands
