Balance your fast-paced world with the principles and philosophy of slowing down in yin yoga. Yin yoga involves holding poses for longer periods of time (often 3 to 5 minutes) with the assistance of props (blocks, bolsters, blankets) in order to gently work into connective tissues of the body, increasing circulation, activating the parasympathetic nervous system, and stimulating the flow of energy (Qi) in the body.

+Find a deeper understanding of floor poses and integrate props (bolsters, blocks, blankets).
+Learn the principles and benefits of Yin Yoga, modern meridian theory and the flow of Qi.
+We will explore the 12 major meridian lines building upon each as we move through the series.
+Breath-work and meditation will be incorporated throughout each practice.
+Mat - we have 12 mats available on a first-come, first-served basis.
+Props are provided but feel free to bring any from home
