Students will discuss
the connection of yoga asana, action, reflection, relaxation, and
the nature of the Flip Your Dog Yoga method in Anatomy and
Physiology with the goal of promoting a multidimensional sense of
wonder and excitement about the mystery of the human body. This
course is focused on researching the best resource in anatomy &
physiology for a student-their own body. Students will have the
opportunity to experience human, emotional and spiritual
experiences by auditive, auditory, and kinesthetic learning
approaches through lecture, practice, imagination, contact,
presentation, and asking.
Core areas of study include but are not limited to: musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology, subtle anatomy, and edge physiology Important relationships between body forms, processes, and functions, and anatomical alignment Considerations, cautions, and contraindications of many physical conditions, specific questions and misunderstandings.
