Join Sonja as she shares her broad knowledge on the anatomy of the body, using her physiotherapy experience together with her love for Pilates.
Improve awareness of your posture and learn how to move safely. Understand the movements that compliment and enhance your posture, giving more depth to your yoga/pilates practice. Learn about the hip flexor muscle group (in particular the psoas muscle) and the lumbar spine.
Part One: Look at the anatomy and posture of your body.
Part Two: Enjoy a full body series of movements to encourage mobility and flexibility through the spine, hips and shoulders. Strengthen the core and stablise the muscles of the pelvis.
Part Three: Explore the stability and movement of the physical and the emotional spine.
Suitable for all levels including beginners.
