This Introduction to Meditation Workshop is the perfect way to start your meditation practice (or reawaken)!
In this workshop led by Merri benham, we will begin an immersive and experiential study of the practice of meditation.
The workshop will
focus on self-discovery via meditation itself, along with plenty of
time to ask questions and clarify.
What you will learn during the workshop: the purpose of meditation: what is meditation and what is not?
A deeper understanding of the mind (and heart) and its various aspects, how to cultivate a different relationship with your thoughts and emotions, and how to come into contact with your true self, an introduction to each of the five styles of meditation offered at Flip Your Dog Yoga and an opportunity to experiment.
Increase the ability to
relax in the present moment while resting.
Improve the ability to withstand stressful situations.
Raising tensions and increasing energy.
