The talented Julie Fasan will be teaching a unique guided Yoga Tune-Up Therapeutic Self Care workshop that will give you the tools and techniques to focus on an a regular at-home massage practice that relieves stress, tension, and pain. If you suffer from stiff or sore hips, neck, back, shoulders, tight leg muscles and arthritis, this workshop is for you. This workshop focuses on the whole body, tackling powerful points that release pain and will have you feeling more relaxed and pain free.
Julie will guide you through techniques for each section of the body holding tension and stress. You will have a take-home sheet that highlights the top techniques and muscles worked on so you can easily massage at home or on-the-go. We will be working with two different tools; Coregous and Tune-Up Therapy balls -- and they will be provided for practice and available for purchase before class.
You do not need to be an expert in yoga or have even practiced yoga — this is an all-levels practice. All tools, mats, and props are to be purchased prior to practice.

Yoga Tune Up® is a fitness therapy format built around the three P’s – Pain, Posture and Performance. It helps eradicate pain, improve posture and enhance performance through a unique blend of yoga, Corrective Exercise, Self-Massage, and Breath Strategies. By helping to identify and target your “body blind spots”; areas that are most overused, underused, or misused, YTU heals damaged muscle, increases strength and establishes healthy movement patterns.
The YTU format includes dynamic and static range of motion exercises to target these blind spots to improve proprioception (body sense), interoception (physiological listening) and motor control (performance). This format utilizes unique exercises that educate each practitioner about their body biomechanics and their personal relationship to how they use their body on a daily basis. Mindset work surrounds and infuses each YTU lesson so that subtle and gross awareness evolve to help every practitioner live better in their body.
