Description
Through the repetition of sounds and words, we can achieve mental stillness and clarity. Using Sanskrit mantra, with its powerful technology of sound, this ancient practice has a healing and electrifying effect.
In this six-week course, you will learn a Sanskrit mantra each week, its meaning, pronunciation and purpose. You will dive into a daily japa mala practice and develop methods to incorporate mantra into your life.
We will meet as a group on Zoom twice a week and in person outside (optional) once a week to chant mantra together to feel the collective energy of sound.
You will learn how to activate your voice, finding great power and joy through this practice, and learn how to calm the mind through repetative silent and vocal mantra.
You will be guided from the Bhakti tradition of yoga, the yoga of devotion, by instructor Shoshana Hebshi with special guests along the way.
All live sessions will be recorded so you can access them at a later date if you cannot make a session. All course content is hosted on the Teachable plaform through Revolution Yoga School.
Meeting times TBD.
