Everyone who has ever done yoga had a first class at one time, and this series is the perfect place to take that first step. At Maha, we prioritize inner sensations over outer performance, with no expectations or demands.
With this in mind, Katrina will provide detailed, informative instruction on the same foundational poses that you’ll find in our weekly basics classes. You will be encouraged to move at your own pace, and modify poses to suit your body’s needs.
We will also tend to the more subtle aspects of ourselves, learning breath exercises to support the physical poses, and meditating to allow the subtle benefits of this ancient practice to settle within.
