HOW TO ACTUALLY LAUNCH INTO A GREAT GUITAR SOLO
and carry it through to the end, and feel great about it
Take this bizarre time we are living in and hone your guitar soloing skills so when the time comes to play with people again you are ready to show them what you’ve got.
In this group online class you’ll learn from masterful guitarist and teacher Mark Westin. Learn techniques you can apply right away to increase your speed, to increase your ability to think on your feet, and to come up with nice tasteful phrasing that is appropriate for the song or the music you are interested in playing.
And there is plenty good of good reason to take a group class. It’s less expensive than private lessons, and there’s a camaraderie that comes from learning alongside your peers. We definitely learn from seeing others try to tackle the same things we are grappling with.
The class is well-suited for online instruction, as everyone will be plugged in from home, and you can take turns demonstrating what you’re working through.
This class is for: Adults and Teens. Basic experience playing guitar, and some familiarity with barre chords is necessary; along with basic familiarity with blues or pentatonic scales.
9/23-11/11, 7:30-8:30 PM. (will likely go beyond 60 mins some of the time)
Instructor: Mark Westin
We will meet over Zoom; we'll send full details as you register.
