Description
With Judith Hanson Lasater, Ph.D., PT, and Lizzie Lasater
For most of us, our asana practice is a big part of our yoga practice, as well as a big part of our lives as well.
In this 6-hour, three- part online workshop, we will begin each session with a short lecture taken from the philosophical teachings of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali. These Teachings can then be woven into our asana practice in order to help us to deepen our focus, and thus deepen our practice itself.
After this short lecture, the rest of our time will be spent on asana practice, using one of the three specific focal points depending on the type of poses. These focal points are Awareness, Compassion, and Being as they manifest through the body.
Poses will be taught by Judith and demostrated by Lizzie. All basic types of poses will be addressed, including standing poses, backbends, inversions, forward bends, and twists.
The last part of the third session will be a long Savasana led by Judith.
Join us to enjoy a new approach to asana practice.
