To provide a safe sanctuary to practice yoga together, we have watched nature’s example, & designed MYC Practice Pods to help us all continue to thrive. You get yoga when you want it, how you want, & with whom you feel most comfortable!
Sanctuary Pods are part yoga class, part private lesson. In a month-long series, or a four-week increment, a group of five students practice together with a teacher. As a pod member, you will receive guided sequencing & specialized instruction in your teacher's practice style, helping students to build a consistent asana practice & a lasting connection with teacher, as well as other students, on & off the mat!
So, how is a pod different from a normal yoga class?
Your Pod is FULLY customizable. You can choose your pod by gathering four of your friends that you feel comfortable to meet with and who are interested in committing to the pod series together. Or, you can let MYC place you in a small group with four other students ready to commit to a regularly scheduled class. In a time when building new connections and friendships feels near impossible from a social distance, this option brings you new Pod Friends to support each other through yoga.
Why a Pod? MYC Practice Pods limit the total contact numbers in classes to help us ensure your safety and a hygienic environment and maintain a regular schedule for our teachers. Our Teachers need our support! With Practice Pods, teachers can keep steady work when students are able to take their classes & can tailor classes to their pods. They thrive by helping & inspiring students & designing creative practices to explore the body and mind.
