This in person series is designed with beginners in mind. You do not need to be in shape, flexible or know what you are doing. Of course you are welcome to come if you are in shape and have done yoga in the past. We will move slowly through basic yoga poses, work with props to find ease and proper alignment and learn to tune in to our bodies so that we can each determine the right amount of stretching, strengthening and relaxing that we need at any given moment.
We will meet in the beautiful Yoga Dome (63 Willis Farm Rd) which has mats, blocks, bolsters and blankets. All you need to do is put on some comfortable clothing, fill your water bottle and show up. Kerry is an experienced yoga teacher/yoga therapist and is able to adapt the class to all bodies.
We all are drawn to yoga for different reasons. Some want to increase their flexibility, some want to gain strength, some are recovering from an injury and want to find balance in their bodies, some are looking to reduce stress... No matter why you are interested, we hope you will join us, and begin (or begin again) your practice. Your mind and your body will thank you.
