the body, Restoratives help to kick in relaxation response,
balancing the nervous system, optimizing energy flow to the organs.
They lift immune function and enhance the process of digestion.
Basically these postures set the whole body up for deep healing,
growth and repair. Beyond these incredible physiological health
benefits, restoratives create the opportunity to see where you hold
habitual tension. This unique practice uses props (bolsters,
blankets, blocks, etc.) to support your body in various
What to expect: Each class will begin with a seated breath practice, followed by gentle warm-ups for the body that are seated and standing (yoga postures, ballwork, self-massage techniques, etc.). Followed by 25minutes of restorative yoga using props.
Please arrive 10minutes early to set up.
Props are available, cleaning products available for your use.
You are welcome to bring your own props if that is preferred.
