Create a surreal landscape under the guidance of the Master, the eccentric Salvador Dali himself! After you get inspired by his art (we will review many of his pieces), your mind will become a fountain of ideas. Add your wild ideas to his techniques - and you have the recipe for success! There is a method for how to create extraordinary surrealism, come up with bizarre ideas, make your art instantly a little more strange, and put your imagination on paper. After this week, you will possess this method. Learn the special surrealist tricks to make their art look convincing, even when its scenario is impossible and subject too weird to exist in real life.
Surrealism is about imagination – the more unexpected the idea, the better. You’ll learn the secret weapon of surrealist painters, that makes everyone believe their outrageous representation. They cleverly insert elements of reality in their fantastical compositions - and you will get insider information for how it’s done.
Throughout the week, the instructor will give participants tips on how to talk about their art. On the last day of the week, Friday evening, all the pieces created during this week’s program will be displayed in the online exhibition with a wine-cocoa reception, and parents, family members, and friends are invited to view the work and enjoy critique and discussion.
