A gentle yoga class for those expecting and postpartum moms who would like to continue their yoga practice or try yoga for the first time. Nicky is also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and will incorporate a different topic on breastfeeding and other related areas each week.
The poses will help strengthen and improve endurance to prepare the body for labor. Many of the poses will help alleviate back pain and sciatica which are commonly experienced during certain stages of pregnancy. Mindful breathing will help to lessen stress and anxiety and encourage a more peaceful and confident pregnancy experience.
