Yoni + Yoga: An Evening of Powerful Feminine Self-Care

Join Anisha Blanding and Megan Schlobohm on Saturday, September 17 from 6 – 8pm at Anderson Yoga Center for Yoni + Yoga - an intimate evening of powerful feminine self-care!

This night is dedicated to YOU and your Sacred Temple – your Yoni. We will begin with a gentle yoga flow with a sweet, feminine vibe, lead by Megan. After refreshments, you will then relax with a Yoni Steam session, guided by Anisha. The steaming is done together, but capes and blankets are worn to keep everyone covered. You will change in a separate space and then you will be provided with steam cape and blanket (***If you have a long skirt please bring that to wear for your steam***).

Anisha will answer your questions as well as give you information about this ancient and effective healing practice that is finally making a comeback in North America. She will also lead you in a guided meditation while you steam.

Women are tired of living with discomfort or masking symptoms related to their reproductive health, and there is a better solution. Also called the V-steam, Vaginal Steaming, or Bajos, this information and practice can give you the tools to take charge of your personal healing and bring lasting ease and comfort to your life.

$80/person, pre-registration is required, only 9 spaces available.

Your Yoni Steam Facilitator:

Anisha is a Certified Yoni steam facilitator, Therapist, Life Coach, RYT200 Yoga Instructor, and women’s wellness advocate. She embarked on her Yoni steaming journey in the winter of 2017 after she learned of the powerful healing benefits of this gentle ritual. It changed her life in incredible ways and now it’s her passion to share this information and wisdom with women so they can tap into their power and know the traditions of our ancestors in order to Thrive in this life and remember who we really are!

Your Yoga Instructor:

Megan began her yoga practice in 2003, and has been teaching yoga since 2017. Megan holds her advanced yoga teaching certification (ERYT500), and has special certifications in Yin Yoga, Thai Yoga Massage, Yoga Nidra Meditation, and she studies continuously in the art of Meditation. Megan is the owner of Anderson Yoga Center, and seeks to provide a safe space for transformation for people of all walks of life!

Women Supporting Women:

Yoni Steaming and vaginal health is an extremely important topic that can often feel awkward. Women all over the globe have been steaming for ages, for a variety of health benefits. If you are suffering in your pelvic area, or are interested in learning more about your health and wellbeing, this special event will be well worth your time. Anisha is personable and relatable, easy to talk to, and all information shared will be held in confidentiality. In addition, you will receive $10 off a private steam session with Anisha, and you are welcome to email her privately and discuss one on one anything that you might need to know more about at your own convenience (Blanding.anisha@yahoo.com).

When NOT to Steam/Contraindications:

• If you are pregnant
• If you are menstruating, especially on the first few days of your cycle, especially if there is heavy flow or fresh red spotting
• If you have any burning or itching
• After artificial insemination (or IUI/IVF transfer) when trying to conceive
• When Prone to Continual Heavy or Spontaneous Bleeding Between Periods­

Safety, Confidentiality, and Cancellation Policy:

Everyone will fill out a confidential Client Intake form before they steam, and if it’s not safe for you to steam, you are more than welcome to stay with us for the yoga experience and discussion. No refunds will be given for contraindications. If you are unable to steam you will receive ½ off a community steam at a later date.  available for this date.

Cancellations 48 hours prior to the event will not incur any penalties, and all refunds will be processed in the form of a credit to be spent at Anderson Yoga Center at your convenience. Cancellations less than 24 hours prior to the event will not be refunded and no credit will be given. Spaces are limited to 9 participants, and pre-registration is REQUIRED. Students are welcome register in person at the studio or online (through the Anderson Yoga Center website at www.andersonyogacenter.com/schedule, or using our branded app).
