What is storytelling and why is that important to my Burlesque persona? Burlesque itself is an artform that thrives on it’s ability to tell stories. These stories amuse, inspire and entice your audiences and are the backbone of your character. Included will be a discussion on narrative vs dramatic enactment in storytelling.

Join Roula Roulette on an exploration of the theatricality of burlesque and how the audience experiences your art, and why that's an important question to ask in act creation. 

Please bring something to take notes with and come in movement clothes as we will explore characterization and movement.
