Level 1: Soul Strong Yoga Mindfulness Foundations Certification Course

Mindfulness is a state of compassionate awareness of the present moment, and practicing mindfulness can lead to significant shifts towards better wellness and health. Soul Strong Yoga is so excited to introduce our Mindfulness Foundations Certification!

The Mindfulness Foundations Certification course is for anyone who wants to learn more about mindfulness for their own journey towards better health but also for those seeking to integrate mindfulness into professional settings, such as educators, business leaders, wellness providers, and more. Taking a deeper dive into the practical applications of mindfulness can help in every arena of our lives, from relationships to parenting to work.

Mindfulness practices, such as taking moments during the day to notice our surroundings without judgement or to practice a 3 minute meditation, have been scientifically proven to reduce stress and improve brain health. The research around the health benefits are exciting and will be part of the Mindfulness Foundations Course. Attendees will also leave with a toolkit of methods to practice mindfulness in both formal and informal ways.

Dates and Times:

November 5th, 6th, and 7th

Friday 6-9pm (3 hour)

Saturday 9am-6:30pm (9.5 hours)

Sunday 9am-4:30pm (7.5 hours)

Total = 20 hours, 20 CEUs with Yoga Alliance

  • Stress reactions versus stress responses
  • Community building and introspection


Will I receive a certification?

  • Yes! You will receive the Soul Strong Yoga Mindfulness Foundations Certification at the end of the weekend course.
