We're delighted to announce we will hold a series of Rank-specific Winter Karate Clinics on Saturdays from 1:30 to 2:30pm beginning with black belts on January 15 and ending with white belts on March 5.
Advance registration for these clinics is required, but there is no additional fee.
The purpose of these clinics is to focus on the techniques and katas required for promotion.
Students at or above the specified rank may attend with the understanding we will cover only the syllabus of the specified rank. So, for example, blue belts may attend the white and blue belt clinics, but they may not attend the clinics for yellow belts and other senior ranks. Blue belts who attend the white belt clinic should understand we will not cover the knifehand block, Pinan 1 or other elements from the blue belt syllabus. Rather, we will cover basic techniques essential to the development of white belts.
These clinics are a terrific opportunity to polish up karate fundamentals and to work on new elements of your syllabus.
