Restorative Yoga is all about relaxation and comfort…. dropping in to Deep Rest

 

Join us at our studio for a Pop-Up Extended Restorative Class happening Thursday, July 7th at 7-8:30PM with yet again, the amazing Shari Ammerman!

 

During this 90-minute session several poses will be offered where participants will be supported by soft, comfortable bolsters and blankets The intention of this longer Restorative Practice is to unwind, release tensions - both emotionally and physically - and surrender to peace, breath, and just Being.

 

We aren’t looking for a big sensation in Restorative Yoga; rather, you will be guided through intentional breathing, moving and stillness practices to enter more deeply into the Parasympathetic Nervous System or “Rest and Digest” response

 

This practice compliments nicely with all our other more active yoga and movement practices

 

Some benefits of practicing restorative yoga regularly are:

Come dressed in layers of comfortable, stretchy clothes (sweats, leggings, big stretchy pjs, warm socks) Hot herbal tea will be available to bring to your mat or to take with you afterwards Bring your own thermal cup or use one of our disposables.

 

Optional hands on assists with essential oils will be offered!
