Rochelle's active flexibility program emphasizes not only stretching but also the strength needed for flexibility. This sort of active stretching creates flexibility that is functional, and useful. While it is great to have oversplits and a super bendy back, do you have the strength to back up that flexibility? Developing the correct muscles and strength to complement your flexibility, is the core of her stretching program.
Rochelle's beginner workshop is open to all levels and there are no pre-reqs to participate
Rochelle has been a performer for most of her life. After taking her first ballet class when she was five years old, Rochelle instantly fell in love with it. Soon after, she began training in rhythmic gymnastics: she loved the combination of ballet, flexibility, and stamina in this sport. At the age of 14, Rochelle decided to fully commit her training to ballet. Rochelle trained and performed with many different ballet companies in southern California until she was 18. After high school, Rochelle trained and performed professionally with LA Ballet (Los Angeles), Joffrey Ballet (New York City), and Bolshoi Ballet (Moscow). After returning to California, Rochelle received her B.A. in Psychology and Child Development from San Diego State University. She also competed on her school’s nationally ranked dance team for two years. Now, Rochelle lives in Las Vegas and teaches flexibility online". In addition to teaching, Rochelle performs as an aerialist and contortionist with different entertainment companies and for different contracts throughout the world.
