We're so grateful to our essential workers for their beautiful work throughout these challenging times, and we're creating a special series that's designed just for our essential workers to regulate their nervous systems and receive back the care that they're given others.
This is a gentle slow moving practice appropriate for beginners also beneficial for all practitioners. This class is designed and structured based on the individual needs of each student that attends.
This class is particularly great for lower back, hips and pelvis, neck and shoulders, chronic pain, arthritis, osteoporosis, immune deficiency issues and many other health concerns.
It is designed to stretch, strengthen, and assist with balancing out the body. At the end of the class you’ll enjoy a twenty minute guided meditation called Yoga Nidra. This mediation is designed to turn off the stress response in our bodies and calm our nervous system.
YOGA Therapy uses gentle movements combined with the breath to bring the body into a state of balance while soothing the nervous system. It's widely known that Yoga can enhance your physical and emotional well being, but when YOGA is practiced with a therapeutic intention in the form of Yoga Therapy, it can help prevent and aid recovery from physical and mental ailments.
