Have you ever been to a fitness or yoga class and the teacher says, 'engage your core', or 'lift your pelvic floor', and you have no idea what they're talking about?  Do you suffer from incontinence?  (in other words, do you pee a little or a lot when you cough, laugh, jump or sneeze?)  Incontinence and pelvic pain do NOT have to be part of your life.  

This introduction to pelvic floor health and deep-core focus will teach you how to incorporate awareness of these very important muscles into your day, and your workouts. We'll combine movements from Pilates and basic fitness to help you apply this knowledge to whatever activities you love to do.

 

This session is designed for women of all ages and stages. Learning to activate your deep core muscles correctly through movement and exercise is key to maintaining a healthy pelvic floor. We'll talk about REtraining before you train, and you'll learn a series of specific exercises you can do anytime, anywhere.
