Description
This series of beginner's classes is perfect for those who have never done yoga before or for those who have practiced and want to revisit the basics of yoga. Yoga helps us to tune in to our bodies and to stretch and strengthen muscles so that we can feel balanced and healthy. In these classes, students will learn the fundamentals of yoga postures, breath techniques and relaxation. We will move slowly, focus on alignment and practice self care.
The classes will take place online through the Zoom platform and participants will receive a link each week. Don't worry if you have never used Zoom, it is easy and Kerry is happy to walk you through the process.
Props can be very helpful in yoga as they allow us to safely practice postures that are appropriate for our bodies at this specific time. Please consider purchasing two block, a blanket and a strap for class. If this is not possible, or if you want to give yoga a try before investing in these props, that is fine as well. Kerry will provide prop-free alternatives for each pose.
