What is Mysore? Ashtanga Mysore style gets its
name from the region of India in which it is practiced. This
practice is unlike other forms of yoga in that it allows student to
pace their own practice by connecting to the rhythm of their
breath. Poses are given at a pace that meets each student were s/he
is instead of trying to fit the student into the pace of a led
class.The sequencing of poses is set up in a way to increase
cardiovascular strength, increase flexibility and stamina, and
detox the body.
