Let the SweatFIT Run Club help you meet your goals this running season despite the ongoing requirements of social distancing. Since the ability to gather in larger groups is limited and this summer and fall’s road races are not guaranteed – we are going mostly virtual! This is a different program than the other Virtual Road Races you can sign up for online. This is NOT just a virtual road race. This is a 7-week program where we want to create accountability to help you be successful.
Sign up for the SweatFIT Run Club Not Just a Virtual Road Race 2020! Here is what you get:
- For those that are comfortable running safely as a group, we will meet two days per week, Tuesdays at 6:30pm and Saturdays at 8:00am for 7 weeks. Location to be announced each day as we take advantage of the beautiful running trails we have in the area.
- For those that prefer to train on their own or cannot make a group workout, we will have a private Facebook group (and alternatively email) to announce the planned workout for the day
- Workouts are planned for 3 days per week and will be posted every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday during the 7 weeks, although you can expect to hear from me everyday during the 7 weeks to keep you motivated and on track toward your goals.

Pick the distance you want to train for, let us know and we will help you get there! Whether you are starting from the couch and want to accomplish your first 5K or you are an accomplished runner and want to tackle a 10K, we will put together a plan for you and help you get there through this “Not Just a Virtual Road Race”! Running not your deal – you get to pick your goal whether you plan to run the whole distance, part of it, or walk the whole distance – this is your “road race”.
Here are some ideas for goal distances, but you do not have to limit yourself to these. Remember you pick the distance, you pick how you want to complete the distance, I help you meet your goal!
