Are you confused and overwhelmed by the food and diet advice everywhere?
Eating these days is hard! There is a lot of conflicting information about what’s the ‘right’ way to eat, what foods are ‘good’, and what foods are ‘bad’. A Google search will yield hundreds, if not thousands, of ‘experts’ telling you the best way to eat. But who is the true expert? You are! Afterall, you know your body best.
Over 6 weeks, you will become the expert on your body and your health. By the end of our time together, you will:
- Become more aware of and be able to listen to your body
- Identify key symptoms that tell you something’s out of balance
- Understand why you’re craving certain foods and what to do about it
- Identify your food triggers and what you can do to manage these triggers
- Practice being in the present so that you can take control over what you eat, and why
- Develop a different perspective on food, eating, and feeling good
- Understand what foods will nourish your body
We will use the book, “Nourishing Wisdom” by Marc David to guide our discussions. There will also be small take-home assignments to help grow your awareness of how food and eating impact your mind and body. As a group, we will support each other in this journey of self-discovery. Making change, and getting to know yourself, is so much easier with a group of like-minded individuals.
