Autumn is the time of the year when natures energy begins its contraction from the fullness of summer, moving towards the stillness of winter. It is a wonderful time to recharge, reflex, and begin to return our energy back to our Self. This intention of this 4 week mini series is to offer information coupled with movement experiences to encourage connections within the body between our physical sensations, emotional feelings, and psychological thoughts. Participants can enjoy an introduction to the body’s energetic patterns with movements that will heighten individual self awareness.
In this series you will be introduced to the masculine and feminine polarity of energy, tools to more effectively align with your Axis mudi or “true, authentic self”, the chakras which correspond to the Upper and Lower energy triangles and how / when to use them to your advantage, and how to let go of holding patterns and find strength in connection to ourself. Classes will be a unique blend of Pilates, somatic reflexes, Kundalini yoga, and pranayama breath techniques, ending with crystal sound bowl meditations.
